Publisert

Four additional Sentinel-class Fast Response Cutters have been ordered from Bollinger Shipyards, based in Lockport, Louisiana, to bring the total number of ships ordered from Bollinger to 64 vessels.

The Bollinger’s Lockport, La facility will build all four FRCs, and all of them are expected to be delivered to the Coast Guard by the end of 2024 and during the first half of 2025.

In the history of the U.S. Coast Guard, 43 FRCs have been commissioned.

Through its impact on the region’s material economy, the FRC program supports 650 jobs and has an overall total impact of $1.7 billion.
