SM Line Vessel Stalls in Pacific Ocean
The SM Busan, a 2007-built SM Line Corporation container ship is now anchored for repairs in Canada after it suffered a mechanical failure when it began to stall on January 1 while heading to Vancouver through the Pacific Ocean.
Tugs deployed by the Canadian Coast Guard had to tow the 6,655 TEU container ship to nearby Ogden Point where it is expected to remain until complete.
