VIDEO: Rough Seas Migrant Rescue by Italian Coast Guard

On September 9, migrants were rescued from the small uninhabited Isola dei Coniglie isle following the demise of one their two boats sinking near Lampedusa island in Italy.

The harrowing rescue attempt was caught on video when the Italian Coast Guard spotted the 125 migrants which included 49 women and 20 minors.

Rough waters caused for a difficult rescue, however in the end, all 125 migrants were rescued from the shore with no injuries reported and were later transported to Lampedusa Port in Italy where a migrant housing complex is located.
