Edda Wind wins Dogger Bank CSOV deal
Wilhelmsen and Østensjø-owned Edda Wind has been awarded a CSOV contract for
Edda Wind has signed a deal to provide the newbuild Edda TBN C490, a specialist commissioning service operation vessel (CSOV), for the construction and commissioning of the first two phases of the Dogger Bank Wind Farm.
The new contract will begin when the vessel enters service in Q2 2023, with a firm period of two years and an additional option of one year.
“Our advanced and environmentally friendly vessels will help our clients lower their operational expenditures and reduce the carbon footprint of their wind farm projects”, said CEO of Edda Wind, Kenneth Walland.
Edda TBN C490 will bring Edda Wind’s fleet up to eight vessels, four of which are contracted long-term to Ørsted, Vestas and Ocean Breeze.
