Contract Awarded to Holland Shipyards for Electric Ferry Build
Two New All Electric Ferries to be Built by Holland Shipyards Group
Holland Shipyards Group was recently awarded a contract in which they’ll build two new ferries with plans to begin the construction this November.
Built by Holland Shipyards yet designed by Coco Yachts, these ferries will be all electric and have the capacity to carry 100+ passengers.
Completion of these builds are not forecasted until 2022 year-end.
The two ferries are being built for Riveer, a transportation service company and are expected to be upgraded with the ability to go faster which is projected to aid in the expansion of their current sailing route.
