Wärtsilä Tapped to Provide Services for CMA CGM Vessels

CMA CGM Vessels to Receive Services from Wärtsilä


Twelve CMA CGM liquefied natural gas (LNG)-fuelled vessels are currently being built split between Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding and the Jiangnan Shipyard.  Once delivered, Finland-based Wärtsilä will provide its services to the vessels varying of a broad range of solutions from engines, propulsion systems and other performance monitoring and decarbonization efforts.

Håkan Agnevall, president and CEO, Wärtsilä Corporation said, “This large repeat order for a broad scope of Wärtsilä solutions from a valued customer marks the value of quality, reliability and sharp customer focus and highlights our wide range of competences across marine technologies.”

Delivery for the container ships is expected in 2023.
