Essberger modernises with eight new high-efficiency tankers
John T. Essberger signs final agreement with China Merchants Jinling Shipyard.
Hamburg-based chemical tanker operator, John T. Essberger is set to modernise its fleet with four new 6,600 dwt stainless-steel tankers, with an option for four more.
The new vessels will be built by China Merchants Jinling Shipyard, will feature dual-fuel LNG propulsion systems and will be certified Finnish/Swedish 1A ice class.
