As China Looms Taiwan Prepares

A proposition was made in September to validate increased military spending for Taiwan to acclaim additional defense weapons amid continuing tensity with China.

Over the next five years Taiwan’s military has T$240b ($8.6 billion) which they plan to spend on increased naval weaponry, to include but not limit to missiles, warships and even a portion for specifically land-based missiles.

Taiwan continues to express that they are an independent country, not affiliated with China and will continue to defend themselves as such.
