A new field control station (FCS) in conjunction with the Western Australia Jansz-lo gas field project is expected to be built and completed in 2025 after a contract for $554 million was recently agreed between South Korea’s Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) and Chevron.Geoje, South Korea will be home to the new station as it will be built at the Okpo shipyard.
