Maersk to Launch Cargo Airline

Publisert

Denmark-based shipping giant AP Moller Maersk is set to launch its new cargo airline.

The cargo airline will operate from one of Denmark’s major airports, Billund, and will eventually include five planes, two of them owned by Maersk and the remaining three leased.

Maersk’s Global Head of Logistics and Services, Aymeric Chandavoine, said, “Air freight is a crucial enabler of flexibility and agility in global supply chains as it allows our customers to tackle time-critical supply chain challenges and provides transport mode options for high value cargo.”
